TLC Orientation Day
On October 11, 2011, the Teaching and Learning Center hosted a day of workshops, demos, and tours.
UCSF faculty, staff, and students learned about clinical teaching using the Kanbar Center's simulators and standardized patients, and about the many learning technologies and techniques supported in the TLC classrooms.
All UCSF schools were represented among the attendees, as well as postdocs, residents, and clinicians from multiple sites. As an added highlight, UCSF’s Telemedicine team was able to demonstrate capabilities for transmitting video and audio between multiple clinical and teaching sites.
